Despite San Francisco’s chilly temps, a girl still has to get in the mood for summer. I’ve got the summer glow, but I realized I still needed to smell summery. While I’ve never been a citrus girl, a recent visit to Bath & Body works made me rethink that position.
I tried on C.O. Bigelow® Lemon Eau de Parfum which blew me a
way. The lemon gives it a clean, fresh scent, but the undertones of warm, white musk make the perfume a bit sexier. I now love this scent and it’s become a quintessential part of my summer routine. (If you buy this perfume online at Bath and Body Works now, you’ll receive a free Lemon Lip Cream. I have it – it’s awesome and very tasty as well!)
Another one of my summer favorites is C.O. Bigelow® Lemon & Lime Body Tonic. While I don’t really need to cool off much in SF, I tried out this moisturizing mist in Sacramento and it was the perfect mid-day skin refresher (especially in 100 degree + weather).
The light and fresh lemon/lime scent is the perfect aroma for an after-shower spray to keep skin soft and smelling great. (Another added bonus? B&BW is holding an in-store and online sale – get 2 select body care or home items for $20.)
My all-time favorite summer product, though, happens to be C.O. Bigelow® Lemon & Lime Body Soufflé. I honestly don’t know what I did before I started using this stuff. I have tried many lotions – probably upwards of 30 brands in my lifetime – and this one has the best results by far. The scent is incredible – it instantly refreshes the skin and maintains a light scent for the rest of the d
ay.
The formula is creamy, but it leaves my arms and legs feeling smooth without the oily, sticky feeling so many other lotions leave behind. I’m tempted to stock up and buy several bottles – the body soufflé is becoming a daily staple for me. (And yes, it’s also part of B&BW’s in-store and online sale – 2 select body care or home items for $20.)
