Today was the first day I used my Shopaholic’s Daily (desk) Calendar 2009. I have honestly never heard the term ‘fashion biscuit’ used in daily conversation, but perhaps one day I’ll need to use it. *Highly doubtful, I know!*
Fashion biscuit, n.
- Someone who has exceptional fashion sense and usually knows what looks good on anyone.
- Someone who looks good in clothes that usually look unattractive on other people.
– urbandictionary.com
By using the above definition, would Carrie Bradshaw be classified as a ‘fashion biscuit’ then?

She’s a fashion biscuit in SATC, but not in real life. Sorry, I know you like her a lot, but she looks a lot better on TV than she does in celebrity magazines.

Mel – I hear what you are saying but I do not agree. Yes, sometimes she is relaxed and wears jeans and a t-shirt with Converse, but she is a mom and can’t be expected to look the fashionista role every minute of the day.
Look at this link below. This is SJP at an event – not in character as Carrie B. – and she still looks awesome!

Ok, you have a good point. Sometimes it just seems like her face is melting…Don’t get me wrong though, I LOVE her in SATC.

Comment not on fashion at all because we all know I need to go on what not to wear for some work clothes help….but Tell Jen to answer her phone and call plus this comment is 3 days old and so unlike her!

Beth – I know, I am horrid! This week has been absolutely insane. Too many days with LONG hours in the office, and the last thing I want to do when I get home late is stare at ANOTHER computer.
I need to write another “embarrassing Jen moment” post. Have any ideas about something from my past?
BTW, I did get your message. The man you were speaking about is Bruce, right? He is fantastic…I always loved when he would come to SHIFT for an in-person meeting with his team. Send him my best, please!
